People, we are on the precipice of October! We have so many fun things happening in October! 😍

The crux of this message is: WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!  To have the fun, we need some help.

Additionally, we will be publishing our volunteer needs for the 2025 Haunted Trail very soon. Be on the lookout for that. 

Attached you'll find our October one-pager which lays out all the dates we're bringing the fun your way! We're hoping to send home a paper copy this week. 

If you're able, please consider supporting our organization next week at a dine-to-donate fundraiser at Moonlit Burgers in Dormont, Tues, Oct 7, 4 PM - 9 PM. Be sure to mention "DEPFO" when ordering. 

Our next member meeting will be the same night, October 7 at 7 PM. Agenda attached here. We will be voting on the draft budget presented during the September meeting. We hope you'll join us in person in Dormont Elementary Library or via Google Meet.

Our last update for this week is our participation on Saturday, October 4th in the Trunk or Treat Spooktacular sponsored by the Borough of Dormont Rec Board. The PFO will be hosting a trunk to promote our Haunted Trail and 5th Grade Projects will be selling Hot Chocolate. Event begins at 5 PM and includes a costume contest, a movie in the park and more!
