It's the most wonderful time of the year! Mark your calendars for the annual Dormont Elementary PFO's Winter Carnival on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 6 PM to 8 PM. There will be 40 vendors to shop in the gym as well as a bunch of fun in the lobby and cafeteria including games, crafts, cookie decorating, face painting, hot cocoa bar and our DE Gingerbread House Competition.

We strongly encourage you to preregister your students/children as the line to pay in person has been very long the past two years. The deadline to preregister is 8 PM the day before the event on Thursday, December 4th.

Preregistration is $5.00 per child and includes: 

• 1 cookie to decorate*
• 1 hot cocoa
• Craft
• Unlimited game play

*We have a limited amount of cookies so preregistration is the only way to guarantee  your child gets a cookie to decorate. This event is open to the community and non-Dormont Elementary students can also preregister.

We also are offering to preorder large Jet's family cheese pizza which must be preordered by 10 AM on Tuesday, December 2nd. You can get your pizza from 6 PM to 6:45 PM at the event. The DEPFO will be selling walking tacos, water, and hot cocoa at the event.

Kids must be accompanied by an adult at all times - there is no cost of entry for adults (or kids who do not want to participate in the activities besides shopping the vendors).
